Research focus

Design and fabrication of nanostructured materials for sustainable energy conversion applications, including:

  • Efficient photocatalysts for water/air purification, solar cells, self-cleaning coatings and water splitting for H2 production

  • Wet-chemically self-assembled nanomaterials for photoelectronic devices

  • Layered metal oxides as electrodes for lithium ion batteries and supercapacitors Ion-exchange nanocomposite membranes for water purification
