BN nanotubes for drug delivery

This research aims to use BN nanotubes as a carrier for drug delivery purposes; BN nanotubes are nanosized hollow containers and very chemically stable. In collaboration with Italian colleagues, we are testing targeted drug delivery by using the magnetic force as many nanotubes contain a small magnetic catalytic particle.

Major achievements

We have demonstrated clearly that an external magnetic force can guide BN nanotubes in a biological environment.
