Nanoparticles as novel therapeutic agents

This project aims to explore potential therapeutic applications of nanoparticles through advanced particle design and surface modification.


Major achievements

Preliminary studies on the cytotoxicity and reactive oxygen scavenging properties of nanoparticles on mammalian cell lines have been completed.

Future plans and directions

Engineering of nanoparticles and surface modification for the purpose of targeted delivery.
