Flame-made composite metal oxides for selective catalytic reduction

This project studies the potential of composite catalysts, prepared by flame spray pyrolysis, for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of nitrogen oxides (NOx). The catalyst formulation under investigation is reported to demonstrate improved insensitivity to the presence of SO2 which can deactivate other materials.
