TiO2 nanorods for photocatalysis applications
This project aims to extract TiO2 in controlled nanostructures from ilmenite sands suitable for a large range of applications including photocatalysis.
Major achievements
We have successfully produced TiO2 nanorods from ilmenite via a series of processes including pre-ball milling, a high-temperature reduction annealing and a low-temperature growth process.
