Skeletal catalysts
These projects are concerned with developing and characterising skeletal metal catalysts using previously untried single and binary metal compositions. Single phase includes skeletal Fe catalysts, while binary involves copper-cobalt composites.
Major achievements
Successful fabrication of Cu-Co and Fe materials comprising the desired skeletal structure. Physical characterisation of materials has been performed.
Future plans and directions
Further material characterisation and performance assessment in selected catalytic and electrocatalytic reactions.
