Photocatalytic water splitting over oxide photocatalysts
The project explores the Flame Spray Synthesis of a variety of complex oxide photocatalysts for photocatalytic water splitting.
Major achievements
A range of oxide materials have been synthesised and found to be active in photocatalytic water splitting under UV and also visible light.
The work has also been presented at a few conferences.
Future plans and directions
Manipulations of the metal oxide morphologies also by flame spray pyrolysis for better water splitting activity.
